Nexthink, headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland, is seeking a Platform Software Engineer for Core Infrastructure to design, deploy, and run AWS infrastructure end-to-end, from edge to multi-account cell architecture and the EKS platform.

You will balance operational work, automation, and greenfield design, with a strong focus on reliability, security, cost-efficiency, and on-call duties. English communication is essential in a multi-region, fast-moving team.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in Platform, DevOps, Software or SRE roles.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong hands-on AWS across networking, edge and compute (VPC, CloudFront, API Gateway, EKS).
• Solid Kubernetes and infrastructure as code, with a GitOps mindset.
• Comfortable moving between ops, automation, requests, and new design with sensible prioritisation.
• Production mindset: uptime, security and efficiency; English communication.

Aufgaben

• Design, deploy, and run AWS infrastructure end-to-end: edge to multi-account cell architecture and EKS platform.
• Move between operational work, automation, requests from other teams, and greenfield design.
• Automate infrastructure with IaC and GitOps to provision, upgrade, and prevent drift.
• Collaborate with product teams to deliver self-service capabilities allowing autonomy.
• Keep the platform reliable, secure, and cost-efficient; manage upgrades, autoscaling, observability and security hardening.
• Help architecture grow by adding capabilities and scaling for new workloads.
