ITech Consult AG in Bern invites a Cloud & Automation Engineer to join our Kubernetes-focused DevOps team. You will engineer and operate shared Kubernetes platforms on AWS/Azure, and enable application teams to deploy and run on the platform.

A Bachelor’s degree is required; strong Kubernetes experience; GitOps with GitHub Actions; on-call duties and security considerations are part of the role. Fluency in English is essential, German an advantage.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Strong hands-on Kubernetes experience in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure.
• Good knowledge of Terraform, YAML and ideally Golang.
• Experience with GitOps, GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of Helm and Kustomize.
• Experience with tools such as Argo CD, Kyverno, Karpenter, Cilium and Grafana.

Aufgaben

• Engineer and operate shared Kubernetes platforms based on EKS and AKS.
• Enable application teams to deploy and run their applications on the platform.
• Maintain and further develop Kubernetes add-ons.
• Optimise platform and cloud costs.
• Contribute to security hardening.
• Support audits and compliance initiatives.
• Participate in on-call duties.
