Roche's RoCOB platform within 360 Labs seeks a visionary leader with a PhD in a life science and 10+ years in biobanking to steer cell line and organoid banking, QC, and inventory. You will drive strategy, operational excellence, and innovative workflows across discovery programs.

You will collaborate with senior leaders to standardize processes, manage regulatory/compliance requirements, and ensure quality across large-scale biorepositories, including iPSCs, hESCs, and organoids.

Qualifikationen

• PhD required with 10+ years of professional experience in biobanking/biorepository leadership.
• Deep knowledge of cell culture, expansion, and cryopreservation, incl. pluripotent stem cells and organoids.
• Experience with ATCC standards, donor consent, licensing, and regulatory/compliance requirements.

Aufgaben

• Lead the RoCOB platform within 360 Labs, refining the strategy for generation, quality control, large-scale cryopreservation, characterization, and inventory management of cell lines and organoid assets.
• Mentor and develop a diverse scientific team, drive operational excellence, implement process improvements and emerging technologies.
• Build strategic partnerships across pRED and Roche R&D, standardising processes and positioning RoCOB as a high-performing resource for discovery.
