Bayer in Muttenz is seeking a Plant PCT Engineer to manage electrical and instrumentation matters affecting plant operability, reliability and safety. You will collaborate with engineering, operations and external partners to ensure compliant, efficient production at the site.

Requirements include a university degree in Electrical engineering or Process Control Technology, 3–5 years in PCT or a related field, and fluency in German and English.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Electrical engineering or Process Control Technology.
• 3–5 years of experience in PCT or a comparable environment.
• Knowledge of process control standards and industry guidelines.
• Practical experience with maintenance projects in the chemical industry.

Aufgaben

• Ensure PCT performance to support plant goals for capacity, availability, reliability, compliance, quality, safety and environment.
• Plan, execute and supervise maintenance budgets and general maintenance strategies.
• Budgeted investments up to 5 Mio €, participate in larger investments within area of responsibility.
• Ensure compliance with internal/external guidelines and company policies.
• Schedule preventive maintenance based on plant performance and history.
• Identify and evaluate PCT modifications and improvements.
• Troubleshoot DCS, adjust maintenance schedules and drive improvement projects.
• Create and maintain PCT documentation.
• Share knowledge and best practices within the PCT community at site.
