Aufgaben

• Design, specify, and implement low-voltage electrical systems for industrial settings.
• Lead projects involving drive technology, VFDs, frequency converters, switchgear, UPS, heating systems, and trace heating.
• Develop electrical schematics and design documentation for new installations and upgrades.
• Provide technical expertise through feasibility, detailed design, commissioning, and handover.
• Contribute to asset lifecycle management and modernization decisions.
• Ensure compliance with NIN/ATEX/VKF and electrical safety requirements.
• Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement to boost reliability and efficiency.
• Identify energy optimization measures to reduce operating costs.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, automation, and project teams.

Proclinical is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, and optimization of electrical systems in highly automated manufacturing environments. This role involves working within multidisciplinary teams to ensure electrical infrastructure is safe, reliable, energy-efficient, and compliant with industry regulations and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Design, specify, and implement low-voltage electrical systems for industrial and process manufacturing settings.
• Lead and support projects involving drive technology, variable frequency drives (VFDs), frequency converters, switchgear, UPS systems, electrical heating systems, and pipe trace heating.
• Develop engineering concepts, technical specifications, electrical schematics, and design documentation for new installations and plant upgrades.
• Provide technical expertise throughout project lifecycles, from feasibility studies and detailed design to commissioning and handover.
• Contribute to strategic decisions on electrical infrastructure modernization and asset lifecycle management.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including NIN, ATEX, VKF, and electrical safety requirements.
• Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant reliability, operational efficiency, and system performance.
• Identify and implement energy optimization measures to improve sustainability and reduce operating costs.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, automation, and project teams to deliver safe, effective, and innovative engineering solutions.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Qualification in Electrical Engineering (BSc/MSc/HF) or equivalent certification as a Federally Certified Electrical Installer, Master Electrician, or Electrical Project Manager FA.
• Experience in designing, planning, and implementing electrical systems in industrial manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, motor control, drive systems, switchgear, UPS systems, and industrial electrical installations.
• Proven ability to manage projects from concept development through commissioning and operational support.
• Familiarity with regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, chemicals, or process manufacturing is advantageous.
• Proficiency in German and English.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, detail-oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset focused on safety, quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
