Chocolat Alprose in Caslano, Switzerland, seeks a Plant Manager to lead our Caslano production site, guiding daily operations, safety, quality targets and KPIs while inspiring a team of about 80 colleagues across production, supply chain, quality assurance and technical services.
You will drive continuous improvement, coordinate with group plant managers, and contribute to product development and process innovation, maintaining a hands-on, decisive leadership style and a strong on-site presence.
As the Plant Manager of Chocolat Alprose, you oversee and coordinate the daily operations of our production site in Caslano. With strong leadership skills and guided by our code of conduct, you act as a role model and motivate your team to achieve the production and quality targets of the company.
You empower people to excel, ensuring that all safety measures are consistently followed. Your area of responsibility covers around 80 employees working in production, supply chain, quality assurance, technical services and product management.
In a dynamic chocolate manufacturing environment, processes evolve constantly. You easily adapt to changes, maintain an open mindset and proactively look for opportunities to improve quality, efficiency and stability across production lines. You collaborate with other plant managers within the group and contribute to business development, supporting the evolution of the site’s core competencies, including special productions and product innovation.
A relevant degree or comparable qualification in industrial engineering, food science, production technology or related fields.
