In order to continue to successfully support our clients, we are currently looking for a Plant Engineers/ Project Engineers:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Process Design & Optimization: Design, implement, and/or optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  2. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of plant equipment are carried out professionally and economically in respect of applicable health and safety procedures to ensure operational reliability and plant availability.
  3. Project Coordination: Lead and participate in engineering projects, from feasibility study or conceptual design through execution, ensuring timely completion within budget in the area of responsibility.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and vendors to ensure alignment on process improvements and compliance.
  5. Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of engineering processes such as Process & Instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), equipment specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) according to change management and in compliance with GMP.
  6. Training: Provide training and support to plant personnel on processes and equipment, fostering plant knowledge and a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
  7. Compliance: Ensure all engineering practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies.

Profile Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) is a plus.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in plant engineering within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries.
  3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in process simulation software and engineering tools; strong understanding of FDA regulations, cGMP, and quality assurance practices.
  4. Analytical Abilities: Structured, focused, and well-organized behavior with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex processes to identify and implement improvements.
  5. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
  6. Team Player: Ability to work effectively and autonomously in a team environment, fostering cooperation and collaboration across departments.
  7. Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and tackle challenges in a fast-paced environment.
