Planner/Scheduler - Basel, Switzerland - 12+ Months

I am looking for an experienced Planner/Scheduler who is interested in working for one of the top-ranking companies in High-Tech Pharmaceutical Engineering. Join a team of hard-working Engineers in Basel, Switzerland and gain valuable experience working on a long term project in the biotech sector.

Title: Planner/Scheduler

Location: Basel, Switzerland

Positions Available: 1

Type: Contract (12+ Months)

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive visual representation of project timelines, milestones, and interdependencies.
  • Collaborate with workstream leads and project managers to understand the needs of different departments and translate that into a cohesive project plan.
  • Shift the planning process from reactive to proactive, ensuring all teams are informed in advance of key operational activities such as facility shutdowns (e.g., HVAC) and other critical events.
  • Identify potential risks or delays in advance and work with workstream leads to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with workstream leads, encouraging collaboration and ensuring they contribute their individual plans to the master schedule.
  • Work closely with project management teams to track progress against the schedule, communicate delays or changes, and ensure project deliverables are met on time.
  • Follow up with key stakeholders regularly to ensure that the planning process is moving forward smoothly.
  • Leverage experience in operational pharma facilities, particularly in commissioning and qualification phases, to better understand project requirements and dependencies.

Your Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of operational processes in pharmaceutical facilities, particularly around Commissioning & Qualification of lines and process phases.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across different workstreams and departments to ensure clarity and alignment on project schedules.
  • Experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements and industry regulations in the pharma sector.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
