Zusammenfassung

Lightium, a leading-edge photonics startup in Zürich, seeks a Photonics System Architect to drive system-level design and requirements management for its proprietary TFLN platform. You will craft system concepts, establish specifications, and deliver reference designs from concept through layout.

Responsibilities include collaborating with customers and external partners, benchmarking requirements tools, and ensuring first-time-right design of high-speed electro-optical PICs.

Qualifikationen

  • Advanced degree (PhD preferred) in Communications, Integrated Photonics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of RF and optical system design experience in integrated photonics (PICs).
  • Experience with IEEE standards (e.g., 803.2ba, 100 GbE LR4, 400 GbE DR4, etc.) is a plus.

Aufgaben

  • Define system-level architectures with customers and translate requirements into designs.
  • Develop reference designs from concept to schematic and layout in TFLN-based tech.
  • Lead requirements tracking and maintain system-level specifications.
