Zusammenfassung

Lightium AG is seeking an IP and Patent Engineer to lead patent drafting and IP management for its TFLN technology. You will grow Lightium’s patent portfolio and ensure freedom-to-operate by coordinating with internal teams and external patent attorneys.

The role requires a PhD (or relevant advanced degree) and 3+ years in photonics/patents, with proficiency in patent tools such as PatSnap and PatOffice. Occasional travel to meet with law firms is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced degree in a related field (PhD preferred).
• Experience in photonics or integrated photonics.
• Track record in filing patent applications or growing patent portfolios.

Aufgaben

• Draft IP disclosures with R&D teams across multiple groups.
• Drive claims drafting and figure drafting for patent applications with external attorneys.
• Monitor freedom-to-operate (FTO) using patent analysis tools.
• Track docket numbers of patent families and respond to office actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with Lightium’s law firms; occasional travel.
