Job summary

IC Resources in Zürich, Switzerland, is seeking a Photonics Account Manager to bridge customers, tech teams and operations in a fast-moving deep-tech environment.

You'll own the customer journey from onboarding to delivery and long-term development, coordinating with R&D, engineering and operations to ensure milestones, clear progress updates, and scalable processes across international accounts. You will travel internationally to support global customers and present at industry events.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years in technical sales, account management, or related fields.
• Master's or PhD in Photonics, Engineering, Physics or related discipline.
• Able to engage with engineering teams on DRC, insertion loss, yields.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Fluent English; additional languages a plus.
• Willing to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Own major customer engagements from kickoff through delivery and invoicing.
• Coordinate with R&D, engineering and operations to track deliverables and resolve items.
• Maintain CRM and customer data; improve internal workflows.
• Build scalable customer processes and represent the business at events.
• Develop relationships with technical and programme leaders; drive international network.
