Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Process Design Engineer – Pharma & Life Sciences to support the design, planning, and delivery of advanced pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities in Basel and surrounding areas. You will lead projects from concept through commissioning and qualification.

The role requires a degree in Pharmaceutical Engineering/related field and at least 8 years of plant design experience, with fluency in German and/or French and English. A hybrid working policy is in place.

Qualifications

• Degree in Pharmaceutical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate design of pharmaceutical process facilities.
• Develop URS, PFDs, P&IDs, and mass/energy balances.
• Prepare tender docs and support bid evaluations.
• Coordinate with vendors post-award for project execution.
• Support construction, commissioning, and qualification phases.
• Contribute to cost estimates and budgeting.
