Job summary

Johnson & Johnson’s Cilag AG in Schaffhausen seeks an Experienced Project Engineer to lead the design, installation and qualification of production equipment and facilities within our engineering team.

The role requires a university degree in engineering, 5+ years of project engineering experience in pharma/chemical, and fluency in German and English. Occasional regional travel (<10%) is expected, with engagement across site, QA, EHS and global teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of project engineering experience in pharma or chemical industries.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Familiarity with project management approaches; FPX and Lean are a plus.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Willingness to travel regionally (<10%).

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects from design through validation of production equipment and facilities.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget with EHS compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on site and with global teams.
• Develop business cases to support project funding approvals.
