Zusammenfassung

Michael Page International is recruiting a Packaging Engineer for a prestigious pharmaceutical company in Zurich. You will manage packaging engineering activities across external CMOs, ensuring compliance, efficiency and product quality, and you will own critical packaging documentation in line with cGMP.

The role requires at least 5 years in pharma, a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or packaging, fluent English, and hands-on experience with TrackWise or Veeva.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Packaging Engineering, or related discipline.
• At least 5 years in pharma or a regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP and pharma documentation.
• Experience in packaging engineering, validation, and specs management.
• Hands-on packaging component qualification and equipment.
• Fluency in English; TrackWise experience mandatory.
• Experience with packaging drawings, specs and design changes.
• Knowledge of electronic quality management systems.
• Experience with Veeva or similar DMS is desirable.

Aufgaben

• Manage packaging engineering activities across external CMOs.
• Own and maintain packaging documentation per cGMP.
• Develop, review, and approve packaging drawings, specs, and release docs.
• Lead qualification and implementation of new packaging components.
• Support packaging process validation and troubleshooting.
• Manage Change Controls, Deviations, Investigations, and CAPA in QMS.
• Coordinate standardization of packaging components across global ops.
• Maintain BOMs and related packaging master data.
• Qualify alternative materials, suppliers, processes to mitigate risks.
• Ensure packaging and labeling compliance including serialization.
• Support launches, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement projects.
• Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and external CMOs.
• Drive projects independently with strategic impact.
