CERN is seeking an HR Coordinator/HR Advisor to shape the employee journey, supporting students, graduates, and staff while navigating a dynamic environment.

Be eligible: nationality per CERN member state rules, up to 2 years post-graduation experience in technical or administrative fields, and a general secondary education diploma or shorter non-university degree. No prior CERN fellow or graduate contract.

Join our Human Resources People eXperience and Engagement team of HR Coordinators and HR Advisors to play a key role in shaping the employee journey at CERN, supporting a diverse community of students, graduates, and staff while navigating a dynamic and evolving environment, by designing and delivering tailored HR support, services, and policies. If you have an eye for detail and a genuine interest in people and HR matters, are keen to gain a deep understanding of HR processes, and develop your interpersonal skills, then this is the right position for you.

Be sure to meet the eligibility criteria

• You are a national of aCERN Member State or Associate Member State. Currently, we cannot consider applications from Pakistani and Lithuanian nationals for positions with a 2026 start date, as the ceiling defined under Article II.5 of the Associate Membership Agreement has been reached.
• By the application deadline, you have a maximum of 2 years of professional experience since graduation in a technical or administrative field and your highest educational qualification is a general secondary education diploma or a shorter non-university degree. You can’t hold a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or PhD.
• You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
