Job summary

Region 14 Schools is seeking paraeducator substitutes to support students with disabilities. The role starts immediately and may be filled as needed across locations within Region 14 Schools.

The position involves data collection, instructional support, and implementing behavior and communication plans to promote student success. Qualified candidates will have experience with disabilities, knowledge of child development, and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with disabilities.
• Comprehensive knowledge of childhood development.
• Excellent teaming, collaboration and communication skills.
• Current PMT/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with the special education team.
• Independently deliver instruction planned by certified staff.
• Collect data on student performance.
• Assist children with disabilities and foster independence.
• Implement communication and behavior plans and adaptations to promote student success.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Relevant experience or college degreepreferred

SALARY:

$17 per hour. This role is not eligible for benefits
