Packaging & Loading Engineer - Group Operations

• Define and optimize packaging, palletizing, and maintenance solutions from finished product silos to stock and trucks, ensuring compliance with product requirements
• Develop User Requirements Specifications and Functional Design Specifications for technical, automation, and IT/OT requirements
• Ensure efficient production process design and implement a preventive maintenance program
• Support packaging, palletizing, and maintenance projects while ensuring compliance with Omya’s engineering and safety standards
• Support global maintenance strategies and best practices for packaging and palletizing equipment
• Conduct supplier audits and evaluations, ensuring technical excellence and maintenance support
• Define critical spare parts management and develop global KPIs to measure and optimize performance

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Automation or similar discipline
• At least 5 years working experience in relevant field
• Expertise in packing and palletization engineering systems
• Thorough understanding of packaging equipment operation
• Great time management skills and ability to organize, multi-task, and prioritize
• Strong understanding of business challenges
• Solution-oriented and proactive approach
• Willingness to travel up to 20 %
