Qualifications

• Completed apprenticeship as a Laboratory Technician (Laborant/in) or equivalent technical-scientific qualification.
• Hands-on experience in synthetic chemistry with enthusiasm for lab work.
• Experience in process development activities and scale-up of chemical reactions.
• Working knowledge of common synthesis/analytical equipment such as HPLC, GC, NMR, EasyMax, FlexyALR.
• Solid understanding of laboratory safety and HSE standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out chemical synthesis experiments safely and efficiently, aligned with project goals and timelines.
• Generate, evaluate, and communicate experimental data with Process Chemists and cross-functional project teams.
• Contribute to process optimization, troubleshooting, and scale-up to pilot and manufacturing environments.
• Support implementation of advanced platforms including Biocatalysis, Flow Chemistry, PAT, and sustainable chemistry approaches.
• Assist manufacturing teams and external partners with process transfers and yield optimization.
• Participate in production of small-scale GMP and non-GMP batches, including ADCs.
