Avantor in Basel seeks an onsite Laboratory Technician to join our biochem/analytical methods development team at a leading pharmaceutical site. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday with a standard 40-hour week, at the customer site, and no shifts or weekends.

You will perform peptide synthesis and sample production, ensure GMP compliance, maintain accurate documentation, and support the lab with general tasks and continuous learning in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Vocational training or degree as specified in the education section.
• Experience in chemical process development and/or peptide or synthetic chemistry is required.
• Very good English skills; German or French is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Peptide synthesis and sample production following SOPs and GMP guidelines.
• Laboratory support including buffers, solutions, and documentation.
• Equipment maintenance, calibration, and instrument reliability.
