Job Description:

We are seeking an Oracle Developer with expertise in Java and Market Data for a Basel-based client in the Financial Services sector.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Leading efforts to ensure business-critical Static and Reference Data applications exceed service expectations.
2. Driving the enhancement of business applications and processes.
3. Contributing to high-impact projects, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and budgets are met.
4. Coordinating and assisting with user acceptance testing for Reference and Market Data projects.
5. Analyzing and designing business processes around the reference and market data product.

Your experience and knowledge:

1. Strong Oracle and Java technical expertise supporting business applications in a banking environment.
2. Experience with Banking / Financial Services Market Data is essential.
3. Excellent technical knowledge of Linux and PowerShell, with know-how of Market Data.
4. Proven track record of contributing to large, business-critical projects.
5. Hands-on experience with source control management, automated testing, and deployment.
6. Solid understanding of financial instruments and data management; GoldenSource expertise is highly beneficial.
7. Language skills: Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
