Job summary

Bank J. Safra Sarasin is seeking an Operational Risk Manager in Switzerland to contribute to the operational risk framework in line with FINMA.

You will support the Group's consolidated supervision duties and collaborate across three lines of defense to ensure effective risk controls. The role requires a university degree in Finance or Economics, 5 years of risk or audit experience in a Swiss bank, and strong English with French; German is advantageous.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance or Economics.
• 5 years of practical experience in Audit or Operational Risk in a Swiss bank.
• Experience with regulatory framework implementation and operational risks.
• Ability to weight problems and set priorities; excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent MS Office skills; Avaloq knowledge is an advantage.
• Fluency in English; very good command of French; German a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the operational risk framework.
• Review and challenge the RCSA.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the three lines of defense.
• Perform tests of controls.
• Contribute to relevant risk reviews.
