Zusammenfassung

Test Yantra is seeking an experienced onsite IT professional in the Zug area to imaging devices, support Windows and Apple systems, and manage end-user incidents. You will ensure devices are configured according to policy, troubleshoot peripherals, and collaborate with network/infrastructure teams.

The role requires 8-10 years in onsite services, strong communication, and the ability to work independently or in a team across manufacturing environments.

Qualifikationen

• 8-10 yrs. experience in onsite services
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to learn quickly and guide junior members
• Proficient with Windows and Apple device support
• Proficient in peripheral devices support (printers, scanners)
• Familiar with servers, storage, switches, firewalls, Wi‑Fi access points
• Team player and independent worker
• Able to handle incidents per ITIL/incident management processes

Aufgaben

• Imaging of new laptops/desktops using Windows builds
• Wiping and re-imaging of devices on return or departure
• Installation and basic configuration of Apple devices
• Configure and troubleshoot peripherals (printers, scanners)
• Troubleshoot with infrastructure, application, and network teams
• Remote wipe of lost devices with client approval
• Ensure devices registered in endpoint management solution
• Manage incidents and service requests from ServiceDesk
• Own resolution of desktop/laptop issues beyond remote support
• Act as first contact for end users and escalate to Level 3 when needed
• Manage desktop encryption and anti-malware configurations
• Address desktop configuration policy exceptions
• Support MS Surface Hubs/LogiTech Tap and AV in meeting rooms
• Support printers in networked environment
• Initial configuration of firewalls, switches, and Wi‑Fi access points
• Collaborate with remote teams on network connectivity issues
• Onsite hardware/software installation, testing, and maintenance in data centre facilities
