Zusammenfassung

Roche is offering a 12-month internship in Global Technical Development (PTDC) focused on upstream oligonucleotide manufacturing process development. You will develop cost-efficient and robust processes in a lab setting, document results and collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization.

The role provides mentorship, hands-on training, and exposure to cutting-edge oligonucleotide process development and manufacturing methodologies within a global biopharmaceutical environment.

Qualifikationen

• Enrollment at a university as a Master student, or completed Master studies no longer than 12 months, in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Good understanding of organic chemistry and process chemistry.
• Hands-on experience in the laboratory.
• Initiative and teamwork with responsibility and flexibility.
• Experience with oligonucleotide chemistry, HPLC analysis and/or downstream techniques is an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Support process development of oligonucleotide manufacturing focusing on upstream process to develop cost-efficient, novel and robust processes.
• Develop oligonucleotide manufacturing processes in a lab setting, establishing suitable synthesis conditions, conducting analytical tests to evaluate quality and yield, and interpreting data.
• Develop end-to-end control strategies for the quality of the oligonucleotide manufacturing process, considering impurity origin, process robustness, and control points.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of processes.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions and presenting results.
• Document experimental procedures, results, and observations in a clear and organized manner.
