Qualified candidates should have STCW II/2 Chief Officer certification, 3+ years of crude oil tanker/OOW experience, FPSO exposure preferred, and proficiency with loading software.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum qualifications per STCW II/2 Chief Officer of ships 3000 GT or more.
• At least 3 years of crude oil tanker experience (VLCC preferred) as OOW; Chief Officer experience desirable.
• FPSO experience is an advantage.
• Experience with loading computer software.
• English proficiency at CEFR B1.
• Medically fit per GEMS health requirements to work offshore.

Aufgaben

• Lead and supervise cargo operations and cargo utilities on board.
• Coordinate with onshore and offshore departments to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Ensure adherence to safety, PTW, and risk assessment procedures, and monitor emergency readiness.
• Contribute to pollution control and timely close-out of survey and audit actions.
• Support reporting and investigations of incidents while promoting training and competency.
