Job Title: OCI Cloud Architect

Total Experience Required: 6+ years in Information Technology/Computers/Software

Relevant Experience Required: 3+ years in cloud architecture roles involving OCI.

Job Type: Contract

Contract Duration: A minimum duration of 3 to 6 months, with the possibility of extension up to 18 months or beyond, depending on project requirements.

Workplace Type: Hybrid (at least 3 times a week at office)

Visa/Work Authorization Status: Candidates must hold a valid work permit or visa to work in the Switzerland

• Must be currently based in the Switzerland, or
• Willing to relocate to the Switzerland from anywhere within Europe or the UK
• Candidates outside Europe/UK unfortunately cannot be considered

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) to join our team on a contract basis. You will be part of a high-impact cloud architecture group responsible for designing and optimizing scalable, secure cloud-based systems that support a major banking SaaS platform. This role involves architecture design, deployment automation, client collaboration, and cloud best practices implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop modular cloud-based systems aligned with enterprise architecture standards
• Support Avaloq SaaS deployment on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Create and maintain Terraform modules for infrastructure automation
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement cloud solutions
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations to clients on OCI strategies
• Proven hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• OCI Certified Solution Architect (preferred)
• Proficient in Terraform for infrastructure as code
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP

Optional Skills

• Familiarity with Kubernetes architecture and deployment
• Understanding of DevOps tools and Git-based workflows
• Client-facing consulting experience
• Troubleshooting and analytical capabilities
