Job summary

FNZ in Chiasso is seeking a Production Engineer to advance monitoring and observability capabilities while actively supporting Managed Services operations. You will lead dashboard modernization, integrate logs, and drive automation across incidents and service governance.

The role combines technical leadership with hands-on incident response, on-call duties, and client-facing collaboration within a Chiasso-based team. Fluency in English and French is required.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of FNZ's operating model and products.
Proven involvement in monitoring modernization initiatives.
Existing expertise in Zabbix, monitoring automation, and incident management processes.
Knowledge of CIM and its operational support requirements.
English and French fluent required.

Responsibilities

Lead the enhancement and redesign of monitoring dashboards leveraging Zabbix Agent 2 capabilities.
Drive migration and decommissioning of legacy NWA Agent monitoring components.
Integrate additional infrastructure and applications into the Zabbix platform (Vtom, Year‑End environments, logs).
Implement intelligent alerting and workflow automation (batch progress, escalation, on‑call acknowledgements).
Perform daily operational checks and participate in incident management and on‑call rotations.
Contribute to governance, service reviews, and knowledge sharing across teams.
