Qualifikationen

• Mindestens 10 Jahre Erfahrung in großen Bauprojekten im Bereich Life Sciences.

We are seeking a talented and motivated Oberbauleiter:in / Construction Supervisor with Life Science industry experience to join our high impact projects. This position will be based in Basel or Zurich.

Role Overview

• Overseeing the on-site operations of a building site while ensuring compliance with occupational safety regulations, and project phases within Life Science facilities
• Managing the sequence of works, overall productivity and the schedule for the project and reporting on progress
• Overseeing and managing a team of specialist site managers who will each be responsible for managing their respective trade partners to align project objectives with the requirements of Life Science environment
• Overseeing the implementation of project quality plans, including site inspections, benchmarking, and compliance with industry and client standards and regulations
• Coordinating building acceptance procedures with local authorities, ensuring inspections and documentation meet local regulatory requirements

Role Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a construction related field. Alternatively, a technical career through an apprenticeship in construction
• Field Experience: At least 10 years of experience in a similar position, managing large-scale construction projects within the Life Science sector (pharmaceutical, biotech, or related). Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams. Strong negotiation skills
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of project management software, scheduling software, preferably BIM software (ACC, Navisworks or similar), Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with local Life Science industry regulations, including GMP, FDA, EMA, and local building codes
• Language: Fluency in German and English oral and written
• Workstyle: Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills. Strong work ethic with a passion for construction. Proactive, hands-on approach. Effective working within a team and clear communication and collaboration with all stakeholders
