Zusammenfassung

La Prairie Group AG in Zurich, Switzerland, invites an experienced New Product Launch/Innovation Project Manager to drive our innovation pipeline from concept to market entry. You will lead the NPL Core Team, coordinate cross-functional partners across marketing, R&D, packaging and supply chain, and ensure OTIF and IQ across launches, relaunches and reformulations while maximizing profitability.

The role requires a university degree and 5+ years in cosmetics/CPG, strong PM, stakeholder

• Ensuring on-time and in-full (OTIF) and in-quality (IQ) management of all New Product Launch (NPL) projects, encompassing launches, relaunches, and reformulations, to meet critical market demands and business objectives.
• Proactively preparing comprehensive decision-making fundamentals, anticipating potential risks, and escalating critical issues as needed to ensure smooth project progression.
• Articulating compelling project presentations to key gatekeepers, securing necessary approvals and alignment for successful project execution.
• Providing goal-oriented functional leadership to the NPL Core Team members, including the Brand Manager, Formula Developer, Packaging Engineer, and Supply Chain Project Lead, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Strategically steering cross-functional resources to maximize project profitability and optimize the return on investment for each new initiative.
• Serving as a trusted consultant to project owners (Global Marketing Managers), representing an entrepreneurial perspective within the project gates to ensure commercially viable and successful outcomes.
• Collaborating closely with project owners to clarify project briefings and objectives, establishing a clear roadmap for execution from the outset.
• Driving continuous improvement of the NPL process in close cooperation with the NPL Leadership team, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Acting consistently in the overall company's best interests, transcending individual functional interests to achieve holistic organizational success.

What you need to have to be our next audacious and creative talent:

• University degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Life Sciences, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Development, Innovation, Marketing, R&D, Packaging, or Supply Chain within the cosmetics, skincare, beauty, or FMCG industry.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end new product launch (NPL) or innovation projects from concept to commercialization.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and align stakeholders across functions without direct authority.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience assessing risks and driving decision-making.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including exposure to senior stakeholders.
• Ability to manage complexity, resolve conflicts, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Entrepreneurial mindset combined with a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach.
• Collaborative team player with an international mindset and a track record of driving results through cross-functional partnerships.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Preferred

• Experience across more than one function (e.g., Marketing, R&D, Packaging, Supply Chain).
• Luxury skincare, beauty, or premium consumer goods experience.
• Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2, Agile or equivalent).
