Job summary

Non-Teaching Substitute Instructional Aides for the 2026-2027 School Year are needed. These positions vary in hours on an as-needed basis and could lead to part-time or full-time regular employment. All positions pay $18.99 per hour.

Educational Aide Permit for 2026–2027 and a valid permit in the Lakota Local School District from the Ohio Department of Education are required, along with a high school diploma or GED. A FBI/BCII background check is required if offered a position.

Qualifications

• Educational Aide Permit for the 2026 – 2027 School Year and valid in the Lakota Local School District from the Ohio Department of Education.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Applicants that are offered positions shall be required to submit to an FBI/BCII criminal background check. Failure to pass the background check will preclude employment.

Applicants that are offered positions shall be required to submit to an FBI/BCII criminal background check. Failure to satisfactorily pass the criminal background check based on the discretion of the Board of Education will preclude an individual from employment with the district.
