Assignment Specifications

On-Call; Winona Area Public Schools continuously accepts online applications for prospective substitute Educational Assistants to sub for our district. Applications will be reviewed as needed.

Pay Rate

$14.00 per hour (Classroom); $15.50 per hour (Special Education)

Responsibilities

In the absence of the Educational Assistant, the Substitute Educational Assistant follows instructions as laid out in the substitute plans to ensure consistency in the students regularly scheduled activities. These positions may be working one-on-one with a student or working with many students in many different classrooms.

Qualifications

A High School Diploma is required and previous experience working with school-aged students is preferred. Winona Area Public Schools currently employs approximately 100 educational assistants and interpreters in 3 elementary buildings, one middle school, one alternative learning center, and one high school.
