Zusammenfassung

A Basel-based pharmaceutical company seeks a Scientist/Associate Scientist to join its genomics platform in Basel, focusing on single-cell sequencing, spatial transcriptomics, and NGS applications. You will work at the interface of molecular biology, genomics, and translational research to develop and implement innovative omics technologies.

Qualifikationen

Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Genomics, or related field.
1–3 years of industry or relevant research experience in genomics or molecular biology.
Hands-on experience with NGS workflows including library preparation and sequencing.
DNA/RNA extraction, PCR/qPCR, and molecular biology techniques.
Experience with FFPE or low-input samples preferred.

Aufgaben

Develop, optimize, and implement advanced NGS workflows focusing on scRNA-seq and spatial transcriptomics.
Perform sample processing, library prep, sequencing, and QC with rigor.
Collaborate with bioinformatics and cross-functional teams to interpret datasets.
Generate and document experimental results following FAIR data principles.
Present findings and innovations to stakeholders; contribute to platform improvements.
