FORFIRM is seeking a Network & Security Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team in Lugano, Switzerland. You will maintain and evolve the organization’s network and security infrastructure, ensuring service reliability, operational continuity, and compliance with security standards.

• Analyze business and technical requirements from internal stakeholders and translate them into effective infrastructure solutions.
• Manage the full lifecycle of infrastructure changes, from design and implementation to testing and deployment.
• Administer and maintain digital certificates and related security services.
• Coordinate activities with third-party vendors responsible for network services and infrastructure management.
• Participate in the on-call rotation to ensure service availability and incident response.
• Perform data center cabling activities and installation of network and security equipment when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced troubleshooting and operational support for network and security environments.
• Analyze business and technical requirements from internal stakeholders and translate them into effective infrastructure solutions.
• Manage the full lifecycle of infrastructure changes, from design and implementation to testing and deployment.
• Administer and maintain digital certificates and related security services.

Required Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with Check Point Firewalls.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco ACI environments.
• Experience managing Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC) and enterprise Wi‑Fi infrastructures.
• Experience with F5 Load Balancers.
• Scripting and automation skills for infrastructure management and operational efficiency.
