Zusammenfassung

ETH Zurich's BRNC is seeking a hands-on Nanofabrication R&D Engineer to join the cleanroom operations team in Zurich. You will develop and optimize fabrication processes, own selected equipment, and support safe introduction of new materials and experimental approaches.

You will work with researchers and technicians on process development, troubleshooting, and knowledge sharing, while contributing to digital workflows and documentation to enable efficient, safe projects.

Qualifikationen

  • University degree in a technical discipline such as materials science, chemistry, chemical engineering, physics, nanotechnology, or microengineering.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on nanofabrication, semiconductor processing, wet chemistry, and vacuum-based techniques.
  • Experience evaluating or introducing new chemicals, materials, or processes in complex environments is a plus.

Aufgaben

  • Design, develop, optimize, and document nanofabrication processes and support R&D projects.
  • Own and maintain selected cleanroom equipment including deposition, characterization, and wet-processing systems; coordinate maintenance and installations.
  • Act as safety lead for chemicals, gases, and cleanroom operations; contribute to safety protocols.
