You will lead the conceptual design phase for motion-control architectures and collaborate with the development team to ensure solutions meet customer requirements. Key qualifications include a Master in control/mechatronics, ~5 years experience, proficiency in MATLAB/SIMULINK, and programming in C/C++.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in control or mechatronics engineering.
• Ideal candidate has 5 years in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of physical phenomena (mechanical/electronics coupling, vib dynamics, thermo-mechanics).
• Proficient with MATLAB/SIMULINK.
• Good knowledge of real-time applications and C/C++.
• Strong understanding of dynamic systems control.
• Autonomous with teamwork and strong analytical thinking.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Aufgaben

• Lead the design phase to select the machine architecture and guide the development team.
• Define prototype qualifications plan; run tests; present and commission at customers’ facilities.
• Participate in sustaining activities; define production tests and acceptance criteria.
• Strong expertise in servo regulation for motion control; metrology and optics are an asset.
• Define project scope, deliverables and acceptance criteria.
• Provide technical guidance to ensure timely achievement of goals.
