Harmattan AI is seeking a Module Lead for Guidance & Control to own the roadmap, team, and interfaces to other parts of the company. The role combines deep technical leadership with hands-on delivery in a high-speed autonomous flight environment.

You will define the module’s scope, drive milestones, and ensure delivery while working with product, flight test, and systems teams to bring robust guidance and control solutions to real vehicles.

Qualifikationen

• MSc or PhD in aerospace, controls, robotics or a related field, or equivalent practice.
• Has shipped guidance or control software on real vehicles, multirotor or fixed wing.
• Built or led an engineering team, hired and grew engineers, and owned a module or programme against a hard external deadline.
• Rigorous and hardware honest; decisive and able to unblock the team; clear communicator.

Aufgaben

• Build and lead the Guidance & Control team, from hiring plan to engineers’ growth.
• Define and own scope, milestones, priorities and trade-offs for the module.
• Set how guidance is designed and verified, from motion planning to guidance laws and flight mode.
• Set how control laws are designed, tuned and verified across the airframe family.
• Hold interfaces to adjacent modules and align with product and systems teams.
• Prove the module's work in flight with campaigns planned with the flight test team.
