The Mobile Migration Manager is accountable for:
● Efficient and effective execution of all mobile work packages regarding migrations to a new backend system.
● Alignment with the project plan and stakeholders.
● Delivering mobile work packages within the allocated budget and resources.
● Facilitating seamless communication between the migration project team and mobile-specific workstreams.
Key Responsibilities:
● Coordinate and manage mobile work packages.
● Plan and scope activities related to mobile integration.
● Execute technical integration tasks according to the provided scope.
● Staff and manage team members dedicated to mobile migration.
● Manage the allocated budget for mobile work packages.
● Maintain strong alignment with stakeholders.
● Collaborate with mobile-specific workstreams.
● Link activities to the overall migration project plan.
Background:
● Knowledgeable about mobile solutions.
● In-depth knowledge of the mobile application lifecycle.
● Experience working with mobile developers, backend engineers, QA teams, and stakeholders to align on migration goals.
● Understanding of services and their communication.
● Basic mobile architecture knowledge.
● Understanding of software development processes.
Project Management and Planning:
● Ability to manage conflicting priorities effectively.
● Proven experience in executing and managing projects.
SCRUM and Development Processes:
● Understanding and experience in SCRUM methodologies and practices.
● Familiarity with software development processes.
Problem-Solving:
● Ability to adapt to new tools, technologies, or unforeseen challenges during the migration process.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. (e.g., downtime, data loss) and creating mitigation plans.
Quality and Cybersecurity:
● Basic knowledge of quality assurance processes in mobile development.
● Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices in mobile applications.
