Job summary

Kontoor Brands, Inc. is seeking a Merchandising Intern in Geneva, Switzerland for a 6-month placement. You will support the Merchandising Team with seasonal product briefings, data entry, and market research to identify trends and opportunities.

The role involves cross-functional collaboration and active participation in milestone meetings. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor in Business/Marketing/Economics, strong English and MS Office skills, and an analytical mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Business, Marketing, Economics, etc.
• Fluent in English (written & verbal); any other European language is an advantage
• Flair for fashion and understanding of apparel market trends
• Ability to work under pressure and set priorities
• Strong MS Office skills; Power BI and SAP are a plus

Responsibilities

• Support Merchandising Manager in preparing seasonal product briefings for Global Merchandising, Design and Development teams
• Participate in key milestone meetings
• Assist data entry and product set-up in systems
• Monitor business performance (sell-in, pre-book, at once)
• Conduct consumer/market research to identify trends and opportunities
• Analyze past sales data to anticipate product needs
• Assist with accessories development, sample orders and comments
• Manage sample sets and coordinate deliveries for shoots and teams
• Create sell-in tools and product presentations for seasonal kick-offs
• Support forecasting, line-editing and sample ordering
• Communicate product line updates across departments
• Help resolve collection-related issues with cross-functional teams
