Job summary

CHANEL in Geneva is seeking a Business and Financial Analyst Intern for January 2027 to join the Global Travel Retail Team. You will contribute to monthly performance reports, build new analyses, and support data consolidation to inform strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, is fluent in French and English, and is available for a 6‑month full‑time internship, with an academic affiliation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Business School or University (Finance is a plus)
• Proven experience in financial or business analysis or similar role
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with agile mindset
• Team player with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• High English written and verbal communication skills
• Internship agreement required

Responsibilities

• Elaborate monthly report on global travel retail performance
• Develop ad hoc analysis upon management request
• Assist the department in building transversal financial analyses such as dedicated P&L
• Analyze and challenge relevant KPI
• Follow up of industry key players' financial results
• Cultivate and maintain partnerships with travel retail data providers
• Liaise with regional teams for data consolidation
• Ensure data integrity and reliability of data sources
• Participate in development of new reporting tools with IT teams
• Assist Global Travel Team on budget monitoring and daily operations
