What’s the scope?

Reporting into the EMEA Merchandising Director, the Merchandising Data Analyst collects, processes, analyzes and interprets retail, wholesale and product data to support Merchandising decisions. The Analyst works closely with Merchandising and Planning Team to optimize product assortment, pricing strategies and buying decisions. The key responsibilities include generating reports, identifying trends and providing actionable insights.

Your Responsibilities as Our Merchandising Data Analyst :

  • Collect data from multiple sources and combine it into consolidated reports that are easy to analyze.
  • Design and generate reports related to sell-through, total business performance, bestsellers, regional performance, and market trends.
  • Highlight any significant changes or deviations in performance and interpret potential impacts on product and retail strategy.
  • Work closely with product, retail, and merchandising teams to understand data needs, share insights, and provide recommendations for future strategies.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure merchandising and product strategies are on track.
  • Provide additional analysis and custom reports as requested by senior leadership or specific teams to help with decision-making.

Skills for Success :

  • A Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of experience in retail or merchandising analytics.
  • A strong understanding of product performance, retail dynamics, and merchandising strategy.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, with solid experience in SQL, Power BI, or similar data tools.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and a sharp eye for detail.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to communicate insights clearly and effectively.
