Job summary

TalentCloud Group Recruitment is seeking an experienced Process Engineer with a strong MEMS/semiconductor background to lead advanced manufacturing initiatives in Switzerland. You will own challenging process engineering activities, develop wet chemical processing techniques, and drive improvements in stability, yield, and reliability across microfabrication lines.

You will work closely with engineering, development and manufacturing teams, applying analytical thinking, structured experiments

Qualifications

• A degree in Microtechnology, Microsystems Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Semiconductor Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience in semiconductor manufacturing, MEMS, microfabrication or a comparable technical environment.
• Practical knowledge of wet etching, wet chemical cleaning or related wet processing technologies.
• Experience working with specialised manufacturing equipment and an understanding of cleanroom processes.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to investigate complex technical challenges.
• Experience supporting process development, optimisation, validation or industrialisation activities.
• A proactive, independent approach combined with strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of challenging process engineering activities, helping develop and improve advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Plan and conduct practical experiments in controlled manufacturing environments.
• Analyse technical data, assess process results and translate findings into practical engineering improvements.
• Participate in technical development projects, contributing specialist knowledge from initial investigation through to industrial implementation.
• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing reliability, efficiency and overall process quality.
• Work across interconnected manufacturing stages to understand and optimise process performance.
• Work closely with specialists from engineering, development and manufacturing.
• Contribute to technical discussions, share knowledge and help shape engineering decisions.
• Take responsibility for your projects while benefiting from the expertise of a highly capable team.
