Member of the management for a B2B digitization startup

We are looking for a member of the management team for one of our portfolio companies with immediate effect or by arrangement. It is a fast-growing startup that offers digitization software for companies. The aim is to further expand the customer base before the company can be exited at a later point in time. The company is based in the Lausanne area.

Tasks

1. Responsibility for the management and sustainable development of the company with full P&L responsibility
2. Strategic further development of the business model in close coordination with the founders and investors
3. Leading, motivating, and developing the management team and employees
4. Development and implementation of growth strategies, particularly in the areas of sales, product, and customer relations
5. Managing and optimizing operational processes and ensuring efficient processes
6. Analyzing and evaluating market trends, identifying new business opportunities and partnerships
7. Responsibility for reporting to the founders and investors, including key financial figures and operational KPIs
8. Building and maintaining a relevant network in the digitalization and startup scene

Requirements

1. Degree in business, technology, IT, and/or several years of experience in a management position, ideally as a CEO or in the first management level of a technology-driven (startup) company
2. Proven success in scaling or transforming companies, preferably in the B2B or SaaS environment
3. Strong entrepreneurial mindset, hands-on mentality, and implementation skills
4. Experience in the development and implementation of digital business models
5. Sound knowledge in the areas of finance, controlling, and operational management
6. Strong communication skills, negotiation skills, and a confident manner at all levels
7. Very good written and spoken German and English skills
8. Willingness to undertake occasional business trips
