Our Swiss affiliate in Fribourg is seeking a Medical Affairs Manager to join one of its Brand Teams, focusing on key products within our Central Nervous System (CNS) portfolio. As part of a dedicated team of four and reporting to the Medical Affairs Team Lead, your mission will be to build and nurture strong relationships with KOLs, specialists and GPs.

Your main responsibilities are as follows:

  • Build and maintain relationships with KOLs in your assigned therapeutic area
  • Provide accurate product information and scientific documentation, and respond promptly to specific medico-scientific inquiries from both internal teams and external stakeholders (physicians, pharmacists, patients, etc.)
  • Offer scientific support to the Marketing and Sales departments, including training and validation of promotional materials, while ensuring full regulatory compliance
  • Organize and attend advisory boards, symposia, seminars and other similar events
  • Ensure proper follow-up and monitoring of clinical studies and summarize literature research in databases
  • Communicate relevant scientific insights from field interactions to local medical and commercial teams, contributing to the integration of real-world expertise
  • Contribute to pharmacovigilance by assisting with the transmission and processing of Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs)
  • Work closely with the Brand Team on strategy development and drive the implementation of product strategies
  • Support the Regulatory and Market access team if requested

Please note that this a field-based position requiring approximatively 20% presence at our office in Villars-sur-Glâne.

To carry out this mission, we are looking for a person with the following profile:

  • Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Biology or a related scientific discipline; PhD strongly preferred
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry or healthcare sector, preferably with a first experience in Medical Affairs, as Medical Science Liaison, and/or medical community engagement
  • Ability to interpret and assimilate clinical studies and scientific data, and to deliver scientific presentations and medical training to healthcare professionals
  • Good knowledge of the Swiss medical environment (legal/regulatory/health system)
  • Full professional proficiency in German, French and English
  • Readiness to travel, mainly in Switzerland with occasional international travel
