Zusammenfassung

Mesh AG is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Design Technician to design, build and commission our microfactory — the automated production system at the core of our rebar processing and cage assembly technology. You will sketch subsystems, define layouts, work with suppliers, and own turning concepts into reliable hardware on-site.

You’ll collaborate with engineering, translate concepts into CAD drawings and BOMs, assemble and test hardware, and support commissioning and ongoing maintenance.

Qualifikationen

• Vocational apprenticeship or equivalent in a mechanical/manufacturing discipline.
• CAD skills to develop concepts and basic layouts; ability to design subsystems.
• Practical experience in mechanical design, assembly, commissioning or service.
• Experience in industrial environments; robotics is a plus.
• Willingness to travel Switzerland and internationally (~15%).
• Proficiency in English; German is a strong advantage.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with engineering to design and build the microfactory subsystems.
• Sketch concepts, layouts and mechanical concepts; work with suppliers on design questions.
• Translate concepts into CAD drawings and BOMs; support build and commissioning.
• Assemble, install and test mechanical and mechatronic assemblies.
• Diagnose issues and document improvements; ensure safety and quality targets.
• Travel for customer installations and commissioning (~15%).
