Zusammenfassung

MESH AG in Switzerland is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Design Technician to conceive, build and commission a pioneering microfactory for automated production. You will sketch subsystems, define layouts, source components and own the build from concept to running hardware.

The role blends mechanical design with shop-floor execution, collaborating with engineering and suppliers, performing tests, and supporting commissioning and maintenance across Switzerland and beyond.

Qualifikationen

• Completed vocational apprenticeship or equivalent as a Polymechanic, Mechatronics Technician, Plant or Systems Engineer.
• Dipl. Technician HF in Mechanical Engineering or comparable qualification preferred.
• Experience in mechanical design, assembly, commissioning or service in machinery, industrial equipment, robotics or automation.
• Strong CAD skills to develop concepts, produce layout sketches and detail subsystems.
• English proficiency; German language skills are advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Design and build subsystems for the microfactory and contribute sketches and layouts.
• Collaborate with suppliers on design questions and manufacturability.
• Translate concepts into detailed CAD drawings and BOMs.
• Assemble, build and install mechanical and mechatronic assemblies.
• Perform functional tests and support commissioning and maintenance.
