Microcaps, an ETH Zurich spin-off, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (100%) for our production facility in Worben, Bern. You will maintain and develop encapsulation process systems to scale operations and support our alcohol-free fragrance breakthrough.

The role requires 2+ years in industry, 3D CAD experience with Inventor, documentation skills, and cross-functional collaboration. Fluent English and Swiss work permit are required.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years background in an industrial setting.
• Able to write maintenance procedures and documentation.
• Fluent in English and valid Switzerland work permit.
• Hands-on experience with machinery assembly, commissioning and maintenance.
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor or equivalent 3D-CAD.

Aufgaben

• Perform planned maintenance on encapsulation lines.
• Write maintenance task procedures.
• Investigate mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems.
• Design components and sub-assemblies to enhance equipment performance.
• Conduct research into the feasibility of process change requests.
• Work on continuously improving our environmental footprint.
