Tethys Robotics in Switzerland seeks a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to own mechanical systems from concept to production and continuously improve our underwater robots. You will collaborate with electrical, software and production teams to deliver robust, manufacturable designs.
Ideal candidates hold a BSc/MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or Robotics, have 1–2 years hardware development experience, strong 3D CAD skills, and fluent English.
Tethys Robotics develops innovative robotic solutions for subsea inspection & investigation operations in challenging conditions. We serve governmental organizations, large asset operators and industrial service providers operating in high-demand and mission-critical environments.
As an ETH Zürich spin-off, we are a fast-growing pioneer in underwater robotics, rooted in Switzerland. As we scale from individual systems towards the production and delivery of multiple robots in parallel, we are looking for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to help develop, industrialize and continuously improve our robotic platforms.
You will take ownership of mechanical systems and hardware modules across the complete product lifecycle: From concept and CAD design to production, testing and field use.
Your Contribution
