Tethys Robotics, an ETH Zürich spin-off, is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern in Zürich to support the mechanical development of our underwater robotic systems. You will work on CAD design, prototyping, and turning engineering concepts into production-ready hardware.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers, perform testing and manufacturability improvements, and gain hands-on experience from sensors integration to full system assembly, with a potential path to a permanent role as

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing or recently completed a BSc/MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics or related field.
• Solid CAD skills and hands-on engineering experience.
• Experience with prototyping, CNC manufacturing or additive manufacturing is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• CAD design and mechanical engineering of components and assemblies.
• Prototyping and iterative design improvements.
• Prepare manufacturing drawings and support assembly and hardware integration.
• Design and conduct mechanical tests and improve parts for manufacturability.
• Support integration of sensors and new hardware modules.
