Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC is assisting a manufacturing client seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Tech to optimize shop-floor processes in Berne, IN. You will analyze workflows, design workstation layouts in CAD, and help implement labor and material flow improvements.

Ideal candidates hold an Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering degree (AS or BS) or equivalent experience, are proficient with CAD and MS Office, and can lead cross-functional teams to improve safety, quality and throughput.

Formación

• Degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering (Associate or Bachelor’s) or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with CAD software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, or basic coding is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Optimize Production: Conduct time studies, build Bills of Labor, and set labor rates.
• Design & Layout: Create CAD drawings for workstations, plant layouts, and material flow systems.
• Drive Efficiency: Build kanban systems, write clear operator work instructions, and automate processes to improve safety and throughput.
• Analyze & Improve: Perform cost analysis, root-cause problem solving, and material/equipment testing.

Are you a proactive engineer who loves optimizing processes and solving problems on the shop floor? We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer Tech for our client in Berne, IN, driving efficiency, safety, and quality across plant operations.

What You’ll Do

• Optimize Production: Conduct time studies, build Bills of Labor, and set labor rates.

What We’re Looking For
