Job summary

Riverscape Search Agency seeks a Manufacturing Engineer Tech for a client in Berne, IN to optimize production, improve safety, and elevate quality on the shop floor.

You will perform time studies, create CAD layouts, implement kanban, and analyze costs to drive efficiency. A degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering and CAD proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering (Assoc or Bach) or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with CAD software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, or basic coding is a plus.

Responsibilities

Are you a proactive engineer who loves optimizing processes and solving problems on the shop floor? We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer Tech for our client in Berne, IN, driving efficiency, safety, and quality across plant operations.

What You’ll Do

• Optimize Production: Conduct time studies, build Bills of Labor, and set labor rates.




• Design & Layout: Create CAD drawings for workstations, plant layouts, and material flow systems.




• Drive Efficiency: Build kanban systems, write clear operator work instructions, and automate processes to improve safety and throughput.




• Analyze & Improve: Perform cost analysis, root-cause problem solving, and material/equipment testing.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering (Associate or Bachelor’s) or equivalent experience.




• Proficiency with CAD software and Microsoft Office.




• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.




• Experience in a manufacturing environment




• Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, or basic coding is a plus
