We collect significant digital native artworks, stage and support exhibitions globally, and develop financial models to sustainably support our activities.

Job Summary

1OF1 is a steward of iconic 21st-century art and aims to support a selected group of transformational artists and institutions in all matters related to Art of the digital age through acquisitions, exhibitions, partnerships, and collaborations. 1OF1 is seeking a business-minded individual with a strong background in Art, an interest in Crypto, and a willingness to travel. The capability to work independently, while on a deadline is a crucial skill.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and drive exhibitions, acquisitions, publishing, support projects, and other collaborations.
• Work closely with 1OF1’s directors and other key internal stakeholders
• Manage high-value relationships with key external partners.
• Maintain a transparent overview of all administrative aspects of the company, its collection archive, and its projects, from operational, financial, and legal points of view.
• Execution of key partnership projects with art institutions globally
• Manage conservatory and archive
• Interfacing with media platforms and outlets on behalf of the organization
  
  

Key Requirements

• A deep understanding of contemporary art and its history, with a focus on digital native art, as well as an understanding of art market structures and relevant stakeholders.
• Crypto-native level industry knowledge as well as expert-level knowledge of NFTs, crypto ecosystems, and emerging trends in the space.
• Exceptionally strong project management skills and the ability to manage high-value relationships with key external stakeholders. Additional deal-making skills are considered an asset.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a capacity for independent and flexible thinking
• Ability to work autonomously and to be responsible for achieving the desired results while also contributing to the success of projects shared by the wider team.

• 3+ years of experience in a leading role for an auction house, gallery, museum or crypto-native art project.
• An established network of high-potential partners which could be accretive to 1OF1’s project or acquisition strategies.
• Strong writing and narrative skills. A curatorial background is considered an asset.
